Thayer has been serving Sault Ste. Marie and the surrounding region since 1904. Family-owned and operated, we have built an enviable reputation for excellent products and dependable service — for residential, commercial and industrial customers alike.
Our retail yard stocks the materials a build actually runs on: lumber, plywood, insulation, fencing, decking, hardware and timbers. Our commercial and industrial division supplies dunnage, shipping lumber, stakes, pallets and crates to accounts across the region. Alongside both, we carry marine lumber, varnishes, paints and epoxies for boat builders and repair shops.
Now part of the DNM Group, we are investing in an even better customer experience while keeping the quality and service our customers already know.
